Look, Mom!

 

Adyn has been bugging us lately to take off the training wheels so we finally did and low and behold he took off like a champion!  Here's a little clip of his first day on the big bike. (opps...we are experiencing technical difficulty...video to come later)

A First

Good job, Addi! Now you need to start practicing for the Regional Knights of Columbus Free Throw Competition.

10 months

Grady has been trying out many new things lately...forks, popsicles, mohawks, climbing trees, chillin' in the great outdoors, dressing up and walking with Nana! Way to go Big Guy!

New Pet

Addi sure is spoiled by her Nana & Papa! When we went to their house this weekend for deer hunting, Addi found out they had gotten her a pony to ride. She named him Blaze and took him for a quick spin before letting her brother have a chance. The summer will be filled with trail rides for sure!

Update

Time sure is flying by. Who could have guessed Grady would be walking before he got a tooth. He is getting braver by the minute. I caught him in a down moment this weekend with a book and thought I would share.

Gorgeous Evening

It was a beautiful evening that smelled of summer all over. Grady had already crashed for the night, but Addi, Adyn, and I went for a drive to check out some bales that we had seen earlier that day. They wanted to check them out so we asked the owners if we could snap a few pics, then stopped by a corn field before calling it a night.

Hot, Hot, Hot

Wish we were at Nana & Papa's Lake, but when it is this HOT and you need to make due. The kids spent the afternoon playing in the pool in the backyard while I took some action shots of their water antics. I think Addi worked out some of her issues with Adyn digging in her room. I'm not sure if he learned his lesson though.
