10 months

Grady has been trying out many new things lately...forks, popsicles, mohawks, climbing trees, chillin' in the great outdoors, dressing up and walking with Nana! Way to go Big Guy!

New Pet

Addi sure is spoiled by her Nana & Papa! When we went to their house this weekend for deer hunting, Addi found out they had gotten her a pony to ride. She named him Blaze and took him for a quick spin before letting her brother have a chance. The summer will be filled with trail rides for sure!

Update

Time sure is flying by. Who could have guessed Grady would be walking before he got a tooth. He is getting braver by the minute. I caught him in a down moment this weekend with a book and thought I would share.

Gorgeous Evening

It was a beautiful evening that smelled of summer all over. Grady had already crashed for the night, but Addi, Adyn, and I went for a drive to check out some bales that we had seen earlier that day. They wanted to check them out so we asked the owners if we could snap a few pics, then stopped by a corn field before calling it a night.

Hot, Hot, Hot

Wish we were at Nana & Papa's Lake, but when it is this HOT and you need to make due. The kids spent the afternoon playing in the pool in the backyard while I took some action shots of their water antics. I think Addi worked out some of her issues with Adyn digging in her room. I'm not sure if he learned his lesson though.

6 Months

I can't believe Grady is 6 months old already! I don't remember what we ever did without him.

Crawling...well sort of

Grady took a long time to roll over, but just a month later he started crawling. It is a bit unique in that he gets up on just his hands and toes then lunges forward.

Mimi

People are always asking us where Grady gets his light hair and blue eyes, well here he is with his Auntie Tami (Mimi).

Vacation/Wedding

We made quite the rounds this weekend as we started in Medora...

where Chris golfed Bully Pulpit...

the kids played in town...

took a photo opportunity (Grady snoozed)...

then headed down to hike in the Spearfish Canyon...

to climb some "mountains"...

Addi makes it look easy!...

Grady needed a nap halfway up...

went to a Wedding in Gillette for cousin Shawn and his bride Sierra (hi Grandma!)...

danced the night away...

saw Devil's Tower...

hiked around Devil's Tower...

or got toted around the Tower...

took a wrong turn (gotta learn to listen to that Garmin!)...

swam in Dickinson...

hung out poolside...

made some new friends...

visited the Heritage Center in Bismarck (too tired for photos)...

and arrived safely, but not so sanely back home. WHEW!
